31st Annual Mopar Spring Fling Hosted by Chrysler Performance West

This passed weekend our friends at Chrysler Performance West hosted their annual Spring Fling car show and swap meet at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, Ca. The 31st edition of the Spring Fling attracts 100's of Chrysler family muscle cars and classics to the park. Attendees competed for trophies in a variety of classes, plus spectators enjoyed the large swap meet and vendor midway. The show always attracts a mix of Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth and Desoto classics to the event.

There are always plenty of late model Dodge muscle cars on display at the Spring Fling too.

CPW's Fall Fling 2016 Mopar Car Show at Woodley Park

Saturday was our semi-annual visit to Woodley Park in Van Nuys, Ca for the Mopar Fall Fling. Our friends at Chrysler Performance West host this event each fall and it attracts Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth enthusiasts from all over SoCal.

Poor weather over the weekend did damper the crowd and cars on Saturday, but the California Car Cover Crew still had a great time catching up with the Mopar enthusiasts. Here are a few photos we took during the Fall Fling.

30th Annual CPW Spring Fling XXX Chrysler Car Show 2016

The 30th Annual Chrysler Performance West Spring Fling took place this past weekend. The event attracts hundreds of new and old Chrysler vehicles to Woodley Park in Van Nuys, Ca. The two-day car show features a large swap meet, show & shine, plus awards ceremony on Sunday. The California Car Cover Crew was on hand again in a Midway vendor. Below are some photos from the weekend.

It wasn't just 1960's era Chrysler vehicles at the Spring Fling. There were a number of late model cars and trucks including this pretty clean 1989 Dodge Pickup Shelby edition.

A large group of vintage Plymouth Superbird and Dodge Daytona cars were on display at the CPW Spring Fling.

Thank you to everyone at Chrysler Performance West for the hospitality. It was a fun weekend for the California Car Cover Crew to interact with some Mopar enthusiasts. We will see everyone at the Fall Fling!

Chrysler Performance West's Mopar Fall Fling 2014

The CPW Fall Fling took place on Saturday in Van Nuys, Ca at Woodley Park.

The California Car Car Crew had a busy final weekend of October. We were out at three different car shows between Saturday and Sunday. Our first stop was Woodley Park in Van Nuys for the Fall Fling. The Chrysler Performance West car club hosts 100's of Mopar enthusiasts for a swap meet and car show each fall in Van Nuys, Ca.

 The main attraction on Saturday morning is the swap meet. Tons of swappers and buyers line up early in the morning to be the first ones through the gate. There are always tons of hard to find parts and cars for sale.

A pair of 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat editions were on display at the CPW Fall Fling.

The CPW Fall Fling always attracts a nice variety of Mopar vehicles. Whether you want to see muscle cars, classics or late models, the Fall Fling usually has an assortment of them all. 

The Fall Fling always brings out some unique and rare Chrysler, Dodge or Plymouth vehicles you might not see at many other car shows. 

Towards the end of the show, Jay Leno cruised over to the show in his Chrysler Turbine. This rare vehicle attracted a large crowd of spectators. Everyone wanted to get a closer look at this unique automobile.
