31st Annual Mopar Spring Fling Hosted by Chrysler Performance West

This passed weekend our friends at Chrysler Performance West hosted their annual Spring Fling car show and swap meet at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, Ca. The 31st edition of the Spring Fling attracts 100's of Chrysler family muscle cars and classics to the park. Attendees competed for trophies in a variety of classes, plus spectators enjoyed the large swap meet and vendor midway. The show always attracts a mix of Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth and Desoto classics to the event.

30th Annual CPW Spring Fling XXX Chrysler Car Show 2016

The 30th Annual Chrysler Performance West Spring Fling took place this past weekend. The event attracts hundreds of new and old Chrysler vehicles to Woodley Park in Van Nuys, Ca. The two-day car show features a large swap meet, show & shine, plus awards ceremony on Sunday. The California Car Cover Crew was on hand again in a Midway vendor. Below are some photos from the weekend.

It wasn't just 1960's era Chrysler vehicles at the Spring Fling. There were a number of late model cars and trucks including this pretty clean 1989 Dodge Pickup Shelby edition.

A large group of vintage Plymouth Superbird and Dodge Daytona cars were on display at the CPW Spring Fling.

CPW's Mopar Spring Fling 2014 Photo Coverage

This past weekend I was at the Chrysler Performance West Annual Mopar Spring Fling. This car show attracts Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth enthusiasts from all over the world to Van Nuys, Ca for a weekend of fun in appreciation of Mopar vehicles. California Car Cover has been a midway vendor at the CPW Car Show for the past few years. Here are some photo highlights from this year's event. 

The Spring Fling isn't just about muscle cars. There were still a number of hot rods at the show.

 The CPW Spring Fling brings all makes and models of Mopar vehicles to Woodley Park. The show is not limited to just classic Barracuda and Challenger cars, but you often find a number of AMC vehicles. On Sunday, there was a large group of late model Challenger and Charger owners, plus some PT Cruisers and Prowlers.

There is always a large group of original and restored Mopar muscle at the show. Whether you are a fan of old Valiant, GTX, 'Cuda or Belvedere cars, you will always find a favorite car at the Spring Fling. 

The weather was a beautiful all weekend which brought out plenty of cars and people to the park on Saturday and Sunday. The highlight of Saturday morning was the annual swap meet. Swappers are lined down Woodley Ave for a chance to swap Dodge and Plymouth parts. There is a large show and shine event which attracted 100's of vehicles to the park.

There were a lot of late model Dodge vehicles at the Spring Fling on Sunday. Sunday is the award's day where Mopar enthusiast vehicles are competing for awards and recognition in a number of categories. 

This was a unique 1956 Powell Wagon. I could not remember the last time that I saw one of these at a show.
