20th Annual Goodguys PPG Nationals Hot Rod Show in Columbus, Ohio 2017

Muscle cars entering the Goodguys PPG Nationals early on Saturday morning.

The California Car Cover Crew was in attendance this past weekend to enjoy the 20th Annual Goodguys PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. We have been a vendor at this event for a number of years and always look forward to catching up with our friends and customers in the Buckeye State.

Even though some serious downpours put a damper on Friday afternoon, everyone returned on Saturday to pack the Ohio Expo Center. Here are some of our photos from the PPG Nationals weekend.

The Ohio Expo Center is a sprawling fairgrounds and everyone knows the best way to see it all is on the Sky Glider. Here are a few shots from up above the Goodguys PPG Nationals.

Thank you to everyone at Goodguys for hosting another great event this passed weekend. The California Car Cover Crew had a blast in Columbus and look forward to the 2018 edition of the PPG Nationals.

29th Roy Brizio Street Rods Open House & Car Show

The 29th Roy Brizio Street Rods Open House and Car Show took place this past Saturday at the Brizio Street Rods headquarters in San Francisco, Ca. It was the first time that my father and I had been to the event and we were thrilled that we were able to attend the show this year. We cruised up to San Francisco for the day to see a lot of great friends and hot rods.

The show attracted a few hundred hot rod and classic car enthusiasts to the industrial area in South San Francisco. We were happy to run into a lot of friends that we usually only see at the LA Roadsters Car Show or Goodguys Pleasanton events.

The Open House let local customers and colleagues check out past, recent, and current project cars. Long time customers had their vehicles on display, plus the crew at Brizios' showed off their handy work with a number of under construction vehicles in the shop.

A small swap meet was set up with plenty of classic car parts up for sale

Brizio's provided lunch for all of the guests. 100's of people were treated to hot dogs, chili and chips all served up by friends of Brizio Street Rods.

A highlight of the trip was a tour of the John Mumford Car Collection. This impressive collection features a lot of classic American cars and hot rods from the 1930s-1960s.

Thank you to everyone at Roy Brizio Street Rods for the hospitality. It was a great day in San Francisco. Check back next week for photo highlights of our upcoming GM Muscle Car Show.
