1965 Iso Bizzarrini Le Mans Winner from our Holiday Catalog
This might be the only Iso Bizzarrini that we have ever seen. This rare race car won its class at Le Mans in 1965 and finished in the Top 10 overall. The car was built by Giotto Bizzarrini, who was the head Ferrari race engineer at the time. He left during the Palace Revolt and decided to campaign his own creation.
The car is owned by Bruce Meyer, a long time friend and customer of California Car Cover. We were thrilled to view his private collection and honored that we were able to feature it on the cover of our holiday catalog cover.
The vehicle definitely has the look and feel of a Ferrari, but it actually was powered by a 327 Corvette engine. With over 400 hp, the Bizzarrini reached a top speed of 188 mph at Le Mans. This "works entry" also featured a front-mid engine design, lightweight tube frame and inboard rear disc brakes.
The 1965 Iso Bizzarrini was driven at Le Mans, the Nurburgring, Reims and the Austrian GP. Thank you to Bruce for provided some great historic photos of the Iso on the racetrack.
Thank you to Bruce for letting us some time in the garage. We hope everyone enjoys the unique selection for this year's Santa's Workshop as much as we do.

1982 Porsche 911 Turbo from our August 2015 Catalog
Our August catalog featured the 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo owned by our friends at the JMFP Garage in Southern California. As you can see in the photos, the JMFG Garage has a large collection of sports cars & exotics and we love the fact that they use California Car Covers to keep all of the vehicles clean. You can learn more about the garage on their official website.
We thought that the 911 Turbo was the perfect car for our August catalog cover. The eye catching red paint and custom finished HRE wheels got everyone's attention at the garage. The Porsche features an aftermarket turbo, plus RUF front bumper and side skirts.

1961 Volkswagen Bus From Our July Catalog Cover
The July 2015 California Car Cover features a custom 1961 Volkswagen Split Window Bus built by SicChops. We spotted this custom VW at the Grand National Roadster Show earlier this year and knew it would be the perfect vehicle for one of our summer catalog covers.
The Volkswagen is owned by AJ and Kate Bos of Bakersfield, Ca. The bus has fully restored by SicChops and they did an amazing job of restoring it and giving it some custom touches.
The exterior is factory silver white paint with a custom blue and turquoise mix.
It features a custom set of one-off Colorado Custom Wheels and narrow white walls by Diamondback Classics.
The VW bus received a custom interior by Ron Mangus.
The Bos' family and SicChops would like to thank Ron Mangus, Colorado Custom, Diamondback Classics, Douglas Interior Supply and California Chrome and Polish for their assistance on this build.

Father's Day Catalog Cover Photo Shoot
Our annual Father's Day photo shoot featured good friends and customers, the Simeone family. Father, Rick, is a diehard classic car enthusiast. He and his wife, Janet, can often be found at classic car shows along the west coast in one of their hot rods. Rick and Janet have shared their love of cars with their children as well. The family not only enjoys car shows, but work together as well in their flooring business in Southern California. A big thank you goes out to the Simeones' for assisting us with the annual California Car Cover Father's Day catalog shoot.

1956 Chevy Wagon & Shasta Trailer from our December Catalog Cover
The December edition of the California Car Cover catalog features a 1956 Chevy Beauville Station Wagon with a matching 1965 Shasta Airflyte trailer. We thought this wagon and trailer would be the perfect "Winter Escape" vehicle for Santa Claus.
The wagon and trailer belongs to the Kleckner family from Southern California and we were thankful they were able to assist us with our holiday photo shoot.
The '65 Airflyte trailer has been fully restored and painted in India Ivory and Victory Red to match the station wagon. The interior has also been restored to fit the 1950s-1960's era styling of the wagon.
The '56 Chevy wagon still has the original Bel-Air interior.
The station wagon has a 305 engine under the hood.
For those of you who did not receive a copy of the catalog in the mail, below is the final product. Thank you to Alex, Sean and Mark Kleckner for assisting us with our annual holiday photo shoot. If you want to get a cool catalog like this from California Car Cover, please sign up for one on our website.
Check back in the coming weeks for photo highlights from the final Pomona Swap Meet of the year, plus the Mooneyes X-Mas Party and much more.

1962 Cadillac Coupe de Ville "Santa's Sled"
Our first holiday catalog of the year is just hitting mailboxes, so it is time to share some extra photos of the Cadillac from our Santa's Sled California Car Cover catalog cover.
I spotted this Cadillac at a local car show last year and was thrilled when I found out that the owner, Frank Ortega, was already a California Car Cover customer. I told Frank that I love 60's era Cadillacs and would love to feature the Coupe de Ville on a future catalog.
The Cadillac has a been given subtle exterior modifications, such as the nosed hood and decked trunk lid.
The Coupe de Ville features Cadillac wire wheels and Coker white wall tires.
The Cadillac has all white interior, plus a Cadillac record player.
While the exterior has candy paint and custom details, the original 390 engine is under the hood.
The candy red paint with pearl really pops in the sun.

Thank you to Frank Ortega for taking the time to participate in one of our holiday catalog photo shoots. Check back next month for future photo shoots from California Car Cover.
