2014 Ventura Nationals Car Show Photos

The 2014 Ventura Nationals took place on the Saturday of this past Labor Day weekend. It was a great event with plenty of classic cars and automotive vendors taking over the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

If you like white wall tires and candy paint, the Ventura Nationals has to be a "must attend" on your list of car shows each year. There are always beautiful customs and plenty of traditional rods at the show. California Car Cover was not exhibiting at the event this year, but I drove out to the event on Saturday morning because the shows is always worth attending.

The Ventura County Fairgrounds is a great venue for a single day car show. The property is just big enough to park a few hundred classic cars and is easy to get to off the 101 freeway.

A very nice custom Chevy

In addition to the car show on Saturday, the Ventura Nationals weekend also includes an art show on Friday night before the show and a car run & BBQ on Sunday.

What kid wouldn't appreciate a wagon with air bags?

There were even a few motorcycles lined up at the fairgrounds.

Award winners received custom painted trophies.

A special parking area was reserved for vintage trailers and vans like this one.

Plenty of custom pedal cars were competing for awards as well.

One of our past California Car Cover catalog vehicles was at the show too!

There were plenty of 1960's era Cadillacs lined up at the car show.

Thank you to Holly and everyone on the Ventura Nationals staff for hosting another great car show. I had a great time at the event and look forward to next year's edition.
