Goodguys Del Mar Nationals 2015 Event Coverage

The California Car Cover Crew spent a few days at the Goodguys Del Mar Nationals this past weekend. We always look forward to spending a few days in the San Diego area. The weather is always perfect and the Del Mar Fairgrounds always attracts a nice group of classic cars.

4th Annual European Car Show Presented by dubNation

One of the classic VWs on display at #EURO15

Our 4th Annual European Car Show took place this past Saturday and all attendees would agree that this one was the best event yet. Year after year, the California Car Cover European Car Show gets bigger and better and for 2015 we had to find a new event venue in the area. Our friends at Rancho San Antonio offered to host the car show for us this year. The venue provided plenty of lawn parking, seating and shade for all of our attendees.

As usual, we partnered with Bernie Chacon of dubNation, who made sure that we had a large group of outstanding European automobiles. He made sure we had a number of featured vehicles, plus new vendors and event partners.

Though the event mainly draws late model European cars, there was still a nice variety of pre-1990 vehicles, such as this Porsche.

Our friends from Fastivus came out to promote their upcoming event in June, plus showcase their Volkswagen e-Golf.

United Stance was a new partner this year that brought out a pair of clean and low vehicles.

The annual European Car Show could not happen without great partners. Whether they were contributing raffle prizes, promoting the show or exhibiting at the event, we had a number of great participants who made the day a success. As usual, our friends from Solo Werks and VW Oktoberfest were on hand to support the event. Big thanks to first time vendors T-Mobile Northridge, Pokal Wheels, Function and Form, Big-Euro, 1v1 Motorsports and United Stance for coming out to the show. Not only did these companies display and promote the show, but they donated awesome products to our raffles to raise money of Rancho San Antonio.

The raffle table drew a crowd all day long.

The main attraction at the European Car Show is the raffle table. Each year we sell raffle tickets for great prizes in order to raise money for a local charity. All ticket sales are donated to the designated organization, which this year was Rancho San Antonio. Since the 1940's RSA has provided housing and guidance to at-risk young men.

This year our raffle featured prizes from local restaurants, California Car Cover vendors and some of the premiere automotive aftermarket companies.

Just one of the many happy winners.

We were able to raise over $1500 for Rancho San Antonio on Saturday. Thank you to everyone that made the event possible. We could not have done it without our partners dubNation and Solo Werks, both of whom have been part of the European Car Show since its first year. Thank you to all of the companies below who sponsored or contributed raffle prizes and door prizes to the event. We had great donations and support from local restaurants, such as Poquito Mas and The Habit, plus recognized automotive aftermarket companies like AccuAir, K&N Filters, Race Ramps and Lloyd Mats.
