Supercar Sunday & Dia De Los Muertos Car Shows in the Valley

Supercar Sunday took place yesterday at the Westfield Promenade in Woodland Hills, Ca. It was a sunny day in Southern  California, so plenty of muscle cars, hot rods and exotics parked at the mall for a few hours. There is always plenty to see at SCS, so 100's of auto enthusiasts enjoyed some coffee from Corner Bakery and socialized.

Just up the street from Supercar Sunday was the annual Dia De Los Muertos Car Show and Festival in Canoga Park. This annual event includes a street fair, cultural exhibits and a classic car show. Sherman Way in Canoga Park was blocked between Topanga Canyon and Canoga Ave to allow people to check out the cars and vendors all day on Sunday. 

There was plenty of candy paint and custom details on display at the Dia De Los Muertos show.

Even Ice Cube made an appearance at the show.

Special performances took place all day at the festival.

Shelby Automobile Marque at the September Supercar Sunday

This past Sunday was the Shelby marque at Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills, Ca. The marque attracted hundreds of people, and their cars of course, to the Westfield Promenade. There were plenty of Shelby Cobras, Mustangs and Ford GT40s on display in the featured parking.

The California Car Cover Crew was on hand to talk car care and promote our upcoming events: the 6th Annual Parking Lot Sale and the 3rd Annual Classic GM Car Show.

There were mostly late model Ford GTs at Supercar Sunday, but there were a handful of vintage ones like this.

You cannot have a Shelby marque day without a number of Cobra roadsters showing up.

At every Supercar Sunday, there are always 100s of classic cars, exotics, muscle cars and hot rods to check out. There is something for everyone, which has made SCS such a popular destination on Sunday mornings.

The California Car Cover Crew was at Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills this past Sunday. Due to other show commitments, we have not had too many chances to setup and talk cars with our friends at customers at SCS this year. The weather was not great on Sunday, but we were still there to talk car care with the attendees. 

The marque for this month's Supercar Sunday was Micro Cars. There were plenty of Triumphs, MGs and Subarus like the 360 pickup and van shown above.

The main attraction was Micro Cars, but as usual, there were still plenty of other exotics, classics and muscle cars on display. The Westfield Promenade has plenty of parking for all types of custom cars.  It was a nice morning to grab a cup of coffee at the Corner Bakery Cafe and check out all of the vehicles.

Sunday Morning Get Together

I was not in the area for the Supercar Sunday Marquee event last weekend, but I was in Woodland Hills yesterday morning to check out some classic cars. There wasn't the big crowd that you find at the marquee Sunday, but I still spotted some cool classics and exotics. The weather was perfect to spend a few hours with some friends and customers. Here are a few photos from the weekly get together at the Westfield Promenade.
