Timeless Kustoms' Modern Muscle Cars from the June Catalog

The June California Car Cover catalog cover features a pair of beautiful muscle cars built by the team at Timeless Kustoms in Camarillo, Ca.  Jason Pecikonis and his team have become a well respected and recognized outfit that builds some outstanding muscle cars. From mild to wild, Timeless Kustoms does it all at their impressive shop and fabrication center.

One of the most recent builds at Timeless Kustoms is this 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. The Mustang features Detroit Speed Mustang front and rear suspension for optimal performance.

Under the hood is an aluminum 510 cid Shelby engine built by Timeless Kustoms. A T-56 transmission helps the driver run through the gears.

This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle was also built by Timeless Kustoms and is owned by Mike Cavanah, a local California Car Cover customer. The Chevelle has been featured in a number of digital and print publications since Timeless Kustoms built it. The Chevelle is not just for show, as it is often seen making laps at Goodguys Auto Cross events.

The Chevelle is powered by an LS3 engine stroked to 416 plus an LS9 supercharger just in case that wasn't enough power.

The Chevelle is finished in PPG white paint with a custom front spoiler and signature red fender stripes.

Thank you to everyone at Timeless Kustoms for assisting us with our June catalog photo shoot. We had a great time at the facility and look forward to seeing what the next vehicle to debut is.

3rd Annual Galpin Ford Custom Car Show

The 3rd Annual Galpin Ford Custom Car Show took place yesterday in Van Nuys, Ca. Galpin, one of the largest Ford dealers in the country, packed classic cars and customs around its property just off the 405 freeway.

The car show was an opportunity for Galpin to showcase its car collection, Galpin Auto Sports car customization center and attract new auto enthusiasts to the dealership. The Galpin museum was open to all attendees. The museum holds many popular vehicles from television and movies, plus vehicles from the Galpin collection.

It was a very hot day in Southern California, but plenty of people still came out to the car show and BBQ. MB2 go karts set up a race track at the event, plus there were plenty of activities for kids.

Even though the event was held at Galpin Ford, it was not a Ford only event. Plenty of other Chevy car clubs were at the event too.

There were plenty of Ford Mustangs, new and old, at the show.

Thank you to everyone at Galpin Ford for the hospitality and for hosting another great event. Check back next week for highlights from the California Car Cover Parking Lot Sale & Swap Meet.

Classic Ford & Mustang Show at California Car Cover

This past Saturday was our Classic Ford and Mustang Show at California Car Cover. It was the second show of our 2013 Car Show Series we are hosting at our store in Chatsworth, Ca. The event attracted a nice mix of classic Fords to our headquarters for a few hours.

Our friend Mitch from eco-shine auto reconditioning conducted Golden Shine car care demonstrations throughout the day.

There was a nice display of hot rods, classics and customs on display at our store.

Quite a few Ford Galaxies were on display

The show attracted late models, hot rods, muscle cars and classics.

The show wouldn't have been as enjoyable without the support of our event sponsors. Many great companies donated items to the prize raffle. We gave out door prizes every half hour, plus had a large prize raffle at the end of the day. Proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will be donated to Movember, a men's health awareness charity California Car Cover supports.
