Winter Wonderland Catalog Featuring the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454

Our friend and customer Richard Daniels, of Oxnard, Ca, brought his recently restored 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle to one of our California Car Cover holiday photo shoots. The Chevelle has cranberry red paint with black strips and a black soft top.

The 1970 Chevelle SS 454 uses Global West Suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes.

Interior highlights include power windows and locks, plus a power convertible top. The upholstery was refinished just like the original interior. It still utilizes the factory tachometer and gauges.

Under the hood is a 502 550hp engine.

1940 Packard Darrin Convertible from our March 2015 California Car Cover Catalog

Our March catalog kicked off spring a few weeks early today. The latest California Car Cover car care and accessories guide features many new products for the automobile enthusiast. Highlighting the latest catalog is the rare 1940 Packard Super 8 Darrin Convertible.

This pristine classic is owned by longtime California Car Cover customers Rob & Linda Raznick of Calabasas, Ca. You might recall that we featured a few of Rob & Linda's other classics on a past catalog cover.

This rare Packard was #42 of 44 ever produced. It has all matching serial numbers and the original sales receipt. The car was in very good condition when Rob acquired it, but he decided to fully restore the automobile to its original condition. Tony Castellano of Palmdale, Ca completely restored the vehicle. Tony and Rob did an excellent job of making the Packard look beautiful, because it won Best in Class when it was taken to The Quail Show in Carmel, Ca.

The Packard is powered by a Whisper Quiet 160hp straight 8 motor.

1956 Chevy Convertible from our June Catalog Cover

Our June 2014 California Car Cover features a great looking 1956 Chevy Convertible. The Chevy is owned by local customer Sean Cassar of Moorpark, Ca. This Chevy has many custom touches.

Palmer's Customs in Moorpark, Ca completed the paint and body work on the convertible.

Conejo Upholstery completed the custom leather interior with electric seats and a custom center console.

The 1956 Chevy Convertible under one of our custom Superweave car covers.

The Chevy features a custom 510 cubic inch fuel injected engine.

Air Ride suspension puts the Chevy on the ground when needed.

Large Billet Specialties wheels and Baer Brakes make sure the Chevy looks good and stops too.

1955 Buick Century Convertible from the July 2013 Catalog

Our July 2013 California Car Cover catalog cover featured a 1955 Buick Century Convertible. I had actually spotted this car last year at a local car show. Fortunately, the car owner, Steve Rostam, is a customer of California Car Cover. Once summer rolled around again we were able to coordinate a time to meet with Steve at his garage and photograph the '55 along with a variety of other Buick projects that Steve is currently working on. Here are the photo highlights.

Yes, that is a Cadillac, not a Buick. Steve has a variety of Buick vehicles that are in the works, but still does have some other classics, like this 1959 Cadillac. Steve and his father have been Buick fans for many years and have accumulated a nice collection of the brand.

Fully restored and another one in the works.

The Century features two-tone leather interior that has been fully restored to original condition. The car also feature power windows, seats and antenna. In addition it has the wonderbar radio with foot switch.

Under the hood of the Century is a 322 Nailhead V8 engine with 236 hp and a Carter four barrel carburetor.

The Century has a white vinyl top for whenever the sun isn't shining in Southern California.

Even though the focus of the photo shoot was the 1955, there were still a few other Buicks on site that Steve is working on.

The Century also features the factory Kelsey Hayes wire wheels.
