Ink & Iron Car Show 2013 at the Queen Mary

The 10th Annual Ink & Iron Festival took place this past weekend at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. This three-day event attract music, tattoo and car enthusiasts to the South Bay. Due to the Camaro Car Show at California Car Cover on Saturday, I was only able to get to I&I for Sunday. Here are some photo highlights.

Hey.
The event has plenty of automotive and tattoo lifestyle vendors on display. There was plenty of vintage clothing, art and accessories to check out. A few customers of California Car Cover, such as Mooneyes, So-Cal and Tres Noir were on hand at the show.

This guy must have had too much fun during Saturday night's concert

The main lawn outside of the Queen Mary was home to some classic cars and a second stage for music during the day. The lawn was a good place to relax and check out some classics.
I have seen this wagon at a few car shows. Its custom paint job always get a lot of attention. I was happy to see one of our California Car Dusters in the truck.
Good Choice.

In addition, to the main lawn, there were plenty of other classic cars spread out around the Queen Mary facility. A few local clubs had their classic vehicles on display. Most of them were very clean and had unique details.

This 1953 Pontiac was one of my favorite cars at the show. It was very clean and had some cool details in the front grille and the accessories on the dashboard.

After checking out a few more cars outside of the Queen Mary, I went into the dome to check out the classics on display as part of the Motorama.

The Motorama has a great displays of classic cars. Most of the vehicles were styled like they were Autorama cars of the 1950-60s. There was plenty of candy paint and white wall tires.

With the exception of the 1953 Pontiac outside, this Ford Sedan was my other favorite car. Candy paint, white interior and white walls made this Ford outstanding.

In addition to plenty of custom cars, there was a wall of vintage bicycles on display.

There were also some vintage drag cars on display at the Long Beach Motorama

After spending a few hours in the dome, it was back to the car show and festival.

A view from the Queen Mary

Inside the Queen Mary was the annual tattoo convention. Three floors of tattoo artists from all over the world filled the convention space within the ship.

The main stage featured plenty of bands all weekend long. Attendees were treated to sets by NOFX, Iggy & the Stooges and the Offspring.

Nice to see a California Car Cover on display. Big thanks to Taylor's Cigar Lounge.
