It was a busy weekend for the California Car Cover Crew and me. Besides the California Car Cover
Chevy Car Show and the
Valley Relics grand opening on Saturday, our friends at the LAFD in West Hills hosted their annual car show on Sunday. The event is hosted in a business park in West Hills right across from the fire station.

The show attracts a nice mix of classics and hot rods from all over the Los Angeles area. Proceeds from the event are donated to the Firemen's Fund which provides assistance to families of injured or fallen firefighters.

The
Los Angeles Fire Department Car Show always attracts a variety of vintage fire engines like this one.

The show features many demonstrations put on by the LAFD. There is a Jaws Of Life demo so everyone is able to see what it takes to extract people from a car accident. The fire fighters also did rescue demos like the one above.

Thanks to everyone at LAFD Station 106 for the hospitality and for hosting another great car show. We look forward to another fine event next year.
Check back next week for more event coverage courtesy of
California Car Cover from the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield, Ca and the upcoming Pomona Swap Meet.
