Ventura Nationals Event Flier |
Our friend, Bernie, from dub-nation, came out for the day to talk car care with me and our colleagues. We had a great time talking to customers and checking out the vintage cars and motorcycles.

I cruised out to the show last year and this year's show was much more crowded. The promoters did a great job of bringing in more cars and more vendors for spectators to check out.

The Ventura County fairgrounds is a great place to hold a single day car show. There is plenty of parking for spectators and classic cars, but the fairgrounds are not so large that you cannot see everything. The Nationals utilizes one of buildings, plus all the allotted parking around the complex.
Recognized that pickup? The gold Ford was featured on a previous California Car Cover catalog and is owned by one of our local customers.
The show attracts a lot of chrome hubcaps, steel wheels and wide white wall tires.
All afternoon live music was performing by a number of popular musical groups that had attendees dancing.
The show wasn't just for four-wheelers. The show brought out a lot of vintage bikes and choppers from all over California. Many of the custom bikes at the show were also on display at Born Free a few months ago.
The main building had a number of vendors selling clothing, art and accessories. There were also a few custom cars on display too.
Do you follow California Car Cover on Instagram? You should if you are a fan of classic cars. Here are a few of the photos we posted over the weekend.
Big thanks to Holly and everyone that put on the Ventura Nationals. We had a great time and at the show and look forward to the 2014 edition of it.
Check back next week for more coverage from local photo shoots, car shows and much more. Stay connected with California Car Cover on Facebook in the mean time.
