The first stop on our tour was the museum. The museum has an incredible collection of historic racing automobiles. Bruce is an avid auto enthusiast, designer and renowned driver. Bruce has driven open wheel sports cars, sprint cars, LeMans vehicles, and even semi trucks. He still holds the Pikes Peak Hill Climb record in which he drove a Kenworth big rig up the mountain. After the museum tour, Bruce took us down to the showroom floor. Canepa Design features a large inventory of classic cars, exotics and race cars that are available for sale.
Canepa Design restores and repairs many desirable European cars, like the Porsche 959. At any given time there are a few of the ultra rare Porsche at Canepa undergoing a restoration.
After viewing all the amazing cars, it was time to tour the restoration facility. I found the warehouse to be the most impressive part of out trip. The warehouse is immaculate and well organized.
