March 2012 Catalog Cover Car

I had seen this car and a few local car shows and thought it would look nice on our catalog cover. In fact, you might have seen photos of it on our Flickr page. When I found out that it belonged to a friend of California Car Cover I knew we had to pencil it in for a photo shoot.
This 1932 Ford 5-Window belongs to our good friend, Jay-Jay. Years ago he worked in the sales department at California Car Cover. He now builds custom cars and street rods...
In Switzerland. That posed a bit of a timing challenge to shoot the car for one of our spring catalogs, but fortunately we were able to make it happen.

The car recently received new upholstery with distressed brown leather throughout by the staff at The Spot Upholstery Shop.

Our friends at Custom Built Machines in Chatsworth, Ca also assisted Jay-Jay with some maintenance and repairs on the Ford.



This '32 is Jay-Jay's daily driver when he visits a few times a year to catch some of the bigger car shows in California. The olive green paint and wide white wall tires look pretty good.
