I had a weekend in the Los Angeles area before heading up to SEMA this coming week, so I thought I would drive up to Santa Barbara for the Worldwide Classics Car Show. It was a two day event over the weekend. I could not stick around for the Concours d'Elegance on Sunday, but here are some photo highlights from the classics show on Saturday.
There was a nice variety of American and European vehicles on display. The show was held at the Santa Barbara Polo Club which was a nice venue for the event.
Ford Mustang
Ford Pickup
Woodie
The featured vehicles at the show were the tribute cars from the North American Mille Miglia. A group of drivers cruised along the beautiful California coast in historic automobiles in celebration of the Mille Miglia, a legendary Italian endurance race.
This is the Jaguar that I spotted on the way to the show in the morning.
Chevy Corvette
The show brought together a mix of British, Italian and American automobiles.
California Car Cover was not exhibiting at the show, but it was a nice event to check out for the morning. You really do not need an excuse to drive up to Santa Barbara on a Saturday morning as it is a great area.
Now it is off to SEMA for the California Car Cover crew and me so check back next week for cool products and vehicles from the show.
