Summer Tailgate Photo Shoot with a 1965 Chevrolet Suburban

Our August car care guide featured a classic 1965 Chevrolet Suburban owned by Maria and Juan Trevino of Whittier, Ca. Late summer means car shows and tailgating and this Suburban fit right in with our summer catalog cover theme. This finely restored and maintained Suburban is at home at a car show or football game.

Copper leaf and pinstriped details on the exterior of the Suburban.

The interior of the Suburban is highlighted by tuck and roll leather interior, custom center console and a wood floor.

Under the hood is a 350 Chevrolet engine outfitted with Mooneyes accessories and an aluminum radiator.

The exterior of the Suburban has tucked and narrowed bumpers, plus custom Chevrolet pickup side trim. It is painted in GM copper and cream paint.

Thank you to Juan and Maria for bringing their Suburban out to the summer California Car Cover photo shoot. The Trevino's are active members of the Relaxed Atmosphere Car Club. The club hosts a large event in Southern California each May, Relaxing in SoCal, plus attends many shows as a group. Special thanks on the build goes to: Pro Design Hot Rods, Intro Wheels, Mooneyes, Shine Detail and Cook's Tire and Tune.
