42nd Annual MSRA Back to the 50's Car Show 2015

This past weekend was the 42nd Annual Back to the 50's Weekend in St. Paul, Minnesota. The California Car Cover Crew was on hand as usual to check out as many classic cars and eat as many cheese curds as possible in three days. 

Our unofficial weekend kickoff dinner takes place at The Nook. It's our crew favorite place in town and always have a great time at this bar.

We were at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds bright and early on Friday for the first day of the car show. The MSRA really knows how to put on a car show. A big thank you goes out to the organization and its members for hosting such as event. With about 12,000 pre-1964 classic cars at the show each event, their hard work definitely pays off.

Since it is Back to the 50's Weekend, there are tons of 50's era classics with white wall tires.

Friday was a beautiful day throughout, but there was some wet weather early Saturday morning. The rain might have kept some early birds away, but there was still a ton of people enjoying the car show on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday morning the crowd heads for the large swap meet first thing. I always like to pick up some signs and vintage decor for our retail store back in Southern California. You definitely need a few hours at the swap meet. It is pretty crowded, so you do not want to miss anything. 

 Thank you again to everyone at the MSRA. The volunteers and staff go out of their way to make us Californians feel welcome. We had a great time and look forward to being back at the show in 2016.
