On Saturday, I went out to Pomona, Ca for first O'Reilly Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals held at the Fairplex. The show attracted hundreds of muscle cars and some hot rods to the Fairplex for two days of auto-crossing, showcasing and dyno testing. Here are some photo highlights from Saturday morning at the show.
|Slim's Fabrication had their chopped rear engine Chevy van on display.
|Killer Pontiac wagon at the show.
|Stacks on a Palmer Customs 1955 Chevy.
|Very nice Cadillac convertible that was cruising around the Fairplex all Saturday.
The Dyno Jet dyno test was a popular booth all day. Car owners were allowed to put their cars to the test and see how much hp actually got to the wheels. There was a line of new and classic cars there all day.
|A few of the many old school Gassers at the show.
|Nice Chevy Chevelle.
|A clean Cadillac taking a cruise around the property.
|Once the sun came out, there were plenty of people and cars all over the Fairplex.
Our friends out at Timeless Kustoms did plenty of work on this Chevy Chevelle. It has sport tuned suspension and a Corvette engine under the hood.
Inside the main hall were a number of professional car builders displaying their custom muscle cars and hot rods.
The Auto Cross was a popular attraction for owners of classics and new cars. Car owners were able to test their driving skills and vehicle performance on two laps around the road course. There was everything from new Camaros, classic trucks and even a late model Lincoln Town Car taking laps on the track.
