The 2013 car show season for
California Car Cover wrapped up last weekend. The CCC Crew and I had a great time traveling the country talking to customers and auto enthusiasts alike. In 2013, I attended over 60 automotive events from California to Tennessee. The whole time I had my camera with me to document the fun while on the road. I had 1,000s of photos to sort through, but here are some of my personal favorites from this past year. In addition to car shows, I was also involved in a number of photo shoots for our catalog which you will see here too.

January always means Auction Week in Arizona and the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, Ca. These marquee events kick off the collector car season for all enthusiasts.

February took the California Car Cover Crew out to Palm Springs for the Dr. George Car Show and up to Sacramento for the annual Autorama. We wrapped up the month at the Big Three Swap Meet in San Diego.

| I was able to drive my brother's 1969 Chevy Camaro to an event win in Las Vegas. Better to be lucky, than good! |
In April, we spent a few days over Spring Break at the NHRA Lucas Oil Series Drag Racing Event in Las Vegas, NV. I was also able to check out the fun at the annual Viva Las Vegas Car Show and Rockabilly Weekend. We ended April with the first car show of the year at California Car Cover, our European Car Show.

In May we spent the first Sunday of the month at the Classic Chevy of SoCal's annual car show at Boys Town and attended the Greystone Concours in Beverly Hills, Ca. I took a tour of the Nethercutt with the SoCal branch of the Audi Club of North America too.
The ever popular Mopar Spring Fling at Woodley Park took place during May as well as our Classic Ford Car Show at CCC.

June was a busy month for California Car Cover and me. I was out at Auto Con Los Angeles, plus we hosted another car show at California Car Cover, our annual Camaro Show. June also means that CCC will be at the Back to the 50's Show in Minnesota and the L.A. Roadsters Annual Father's Day Car Show in Pomona. Mix in some other events, like the Ink & Iron Festival and Born Free and our scheduled was filled.

August brought California Car Cover out to the Auctions America event in Burbank, Goodguys Pleasanton and the Ventura Nationals.

October meant that the annual Art Center Car Classic was just around the corner. My family and I were proud to attend the NHRA California Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield, Ca as our owner, Jim DeFrank, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the NHRA Museum.

One of our last events of the year is always the Mooneyes X-Mas Party and Drag Race. Even though it was a little wet this year, we still had a great time.
