50th Los Angeles Roadsters Car Show in Pomona, Ca

50th Anniversary headlight decal

The 50th Annual Los Angeles Roadsters Car Show took place this past weekend in Pomona, Ca. The Southern California institution attracted 1,000s of people and cars to the Pomona Fairplex for a celebration of vintage roadsters.

California Car Cover has been a supporter of the LA Roadsters Car Show for many years. I have been going to the car show on Father's Day ever since I was a little kid. It is a DeFrank family tradition for my brother and me to spend Sunday at the show with our father.

Here are some photos from Sunday at the car show:

Our friends at Johnson's Hot Rod Shop made the trip to Southern California all the way from Alabama.
The car show also includes a large two-day swap meet. Even those most of the action took place on Saturday, there was still some deals to be had on Sunday.

Though the main attraction are classic roadsters, there were still plenty of other classic cars and hot rods on display in the car show corral.

Pretty cool delivery truck and trailer.

The midway was packed with people and cars all day. The California Car Cover booth is right on the main drag so we were able to see many of the roadsters and hot rods cruised by all day.

A few roadsters on display at the Brizio Street Rods booth next to us.

Great looking '32 in the Johnson's Hot Rod Shop booth.

The Los Angeles Roadsters had their 50th Anniversary build roadster on display.

Happy Father's Day from the DeFrank Family
Thank you to everyone at the Los Angeles Roadsters for putting on another great car show. The California Car Cover Crew had a great time and look forward to next year's event.

Our summer road tour kicks off this coming weekend. The CCC Crew and I will be at the MSRA Back to the 50's weekend in St. Paul, Minnesota. It is always a great weekend with 15,000 cars and 50,000 people packing the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Check back for details next week!
