California Car Cover Camaro Show 2012

This past Saturday was the first ever all Chevy Camaro event held at California Car Cover. The event was a lot of fun and we looking forward to hosting Camaro owners of every generation again next year. The show attracted a nice mix of first generation to Gen5 Chevy Camaro vehicles to our store in Chatsworth, Ca. Here are some photos of the fun.

A few 2012 Chevy Camaro vehicles on the front lawn, plus a high horsepower classic Camaro.

Recognize this Camaro? It was featured on the May 2011 California Car Cover catalog. Thank you to our friends, the Stoykos', for bringing it out to the show.

Also, on display were a pair of Chevy Camaro cars that have been driven by my brother Jimmy in the NHRA Drag Racing circuit. He still drives the 1969 Chevy Camaro in the NHRA Stock Eliminator class. The 1989 Camaro is the car that he drove to the first two of his three NHRA national championships.

If you are a fan of the Gen5 Chevy Camaro, then our store was the place to be on Saturday. Probably have of the Camaros at the show were late models. There was quite a variety of styles, from stock to complete customs. There was a lot of work put into these cars. From the Camaro body kits and black rims, to engine mods and performance upgrades.

But no matter what model of Camaro was your favorite there were examples of every generation on display at the show.

Chevy Camaro Z/28
A big thanks to a few of the new Chevy Camaro car clubs for coming out to the show. The clubs did a great job of promoting the show and getting the word out.

Whether you had a 1969 or 2012 Chevy Camaro there was a place for your vehicle at California Car Cover.

On the front lawn we had a new Chevy Camaro ZL1. The red Camaro looked good and grabbed some attention of people driving by our store. This 580hp Camaro looks mean and sounds pretty mean as well.

The show would not have been possible without the help of our vendors and supporters. A big thanks goes out to Ralph White Merchandising, XPEL, Park Smart, Don Bloom Designs, California Car Duster, Slick Stixxx, Garage Art and Golden Shine Car Care Products for making the event possible.

A nice mix of new and old Camaros filled out parking lot.
There was plenty for people to see at the show. Between the sale booth, NHRA race car display, Golden Shine car care demonstrations and prize raffle, all participants were treated to a lot of fun this past Saturday.

A few more Chevy Camaro vehicles with black rims.

Thanks again to everyone that made the Camaro event possible. If you have some photos that you want to share with us, please post them to the California Car Cover Facebook page or Flickr group page.

Check back later this week for some photos and notes from the 2012 Ink & Iron Festival held at the Queen Mary in Long Beach on Sunday.

  1. Those are hot-looking Chevy Camaros. But if I were given a chance to choose which one of these I can take home, I'll probably take the inferno orange metallic painted Camaro SS. The color of the rims and the body is just perfect for the wide frame of the car. That gives it a sense of balance in design, and definitely an edgy, sporty look. It looks just like the old muscle cars, only more modern.

  2. Ivo,
Thanks for the post. I agree. The Inferno Orange does look good out in the sunlight. Hope you enjoyed the highlights from our Camaro Show.
