Mopar Fall Fling at Woodley Park

This past Saturday was the Mopar Fall Fling at Woodley Park. Our friends over at Chrysler Performance West host this annual event. Twice a year Mopar enthusiasts from all over the world converge on Woodley Park in Van Nuys, Ca. In April, you can always expect a big turnout at the two-day Spring Fling that the club hosts. It is always a good time and you see a great mix of Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouth vehicles.

The weather wasn't great, but there were still plenty of cars on display and parts for sale in the swap meet. It is a great place to parts for your Dodge or Plymouth project.

So these vintage bikes and motorcycles weren't Chrysler specific, but I thought they were pretty cool.

Besides the large swap meet taking place, the Fall Fling hosts quite a few midway vendors. The California Car Cover Crew was on hand to talk car covers and car care with customers from all over So-Cal.

The one day car show is a more laid back format that the Spring Fling. The Fall Fling is a swap meet and show & shine for Mopar enthusiasts. It is a great place to get an idea for a project car or purchase one.

There was even a group of loyal LeBaron owners.

There were a lot of late model Dodge Challengers on display.

The perk of having the car show at Woodley Park, means that California Car Cover Crew members and I can sneak up to our favorite DeFranko's Submarine sub for lunch just a few minutes up Woodley Ave.

Plenty of custom Dodge vans were on display

The show was a lot of fun and we look forward to being back at the Spring Fling in April. Check back at the blog later this week for photo highlights from the Art Center Car Classic that was held last weekend as well.
